Ms. Spears associated with the Firm in 2006 after a 20-year career in healthcare. Before becoming a lawyer, Ms. Spears worked as a legal nurse consultant, a critical care registered nurse, and an emergency medical technician. Ms. Spears is an active duty, Desert Storm veteran of the United States Air Force. She served at Pease Air Force Base, New Hampshire, Royal Air Force Base Upper Heyford, England, and Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.

Her principle practice area is litigation with emphasis on toxic tort law and personal injury defense. Ms. Spears represents major corporations such as BP America, Incorporated, BP Amoco Chemical Company, BP Products North America, Incorporated, Atlantic Richfield Company, LYONDELL-Citgo Refining, L.P., and BNSF Railroad.
