Mrs. Reed associated with McLeod, Alexander, Powel & Apffel, P.C. in 2005. Her principal area of practice is civil litigation, with an emphasis on mass toxic tort. As a registered patent attorney, she also handles a variety of intellectual property issues, such as prosecution, litigation, and licensing of patents, copyrights, and trademarks. Additionally, Mrs. Reed has experience with domain name disputes through the World Intellectual Property Organization's Arbitration and Mediation Center. With an array of clients ranging from major companies, such as Exxon Mobil Corporation, Unimin Corporation, BNSF Railway Company, Galveston Wharves, and G2000SS, Inc. to individual inventors establishing themselves in the business world, Mrs. Reed believes her litigation skills are enhanced by the attention to detail and efficient qualities inherent in her as an engineer.
