Mrs. Patterson began working for McLeod, Alexander, Powel, & Apffel, P.C. in 2003. Her main area of practice is civil litigation. She has experience in such diverse areas as benzene exposure, asbestosis/silicosis, insurance coverage litigation for insurers, and several areas of railroad litigation including FELA, contract disputes, and grade crossing collisions. Additionally, Mrs. Patterson has recently been involved in the Firm's appellate law section and has submitted briefs to the First and Fourteenth Courts of Appeal.

Since joining the Firm, she has represented a variety of clients including BNSF Railway Company, Union Pacific, BP Amoco, and Farmers Insurance.
