Mr. Jackson associated with McLeod, Alexander, Powel & Apffel, P.C. in early 2004. His principal area of practice is General Civil Litigation, with an emphasis on mass Toxic Tort, Environmental Litigation, and FELA Litigation. His primary practice includes claims resulting from emissions of hydrocarbons and other petrochemical products and claims based on allegations of workplace exposures to hydrocarbons and other products utilized in the petrochemical and manufacturing industries. Mr. Jackson has also worked on disputes concerning: ad valorem taxation; breach of manufacturing contract; design, manufacturing and marketing defect suits involving equipment utilized in the petrochemical industry; and minor criminal matters. Mr. Jackson represents a variety of clients, from major companies, such as Atlantic Richfield Company, BP America Inc., CITGO Petroleum Corporation, Exxon Mobil Corporation, LYONDELL-CITGO Refining LP, Unimin Corporation, and BNSF Railway Company, to individuals requiring legal assistance with minor (misdemeanor) criminal matters.
