Mr. Galbraith joined the Firm in 1978 and became a Firm Officer in 1984.

Jim specializes in representation of petrochemical industry members, including BP Amoco Chemical Company, BP Products North America Inc., CITGO Petroleum Corporation, CITGO Refining and Chemicals Inc., Lyondell Chemical Company, and LYONDELL-CITGO Refining LP.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Galbraith has handled a diverse array of disputes dealing with a variety of legal issues, including Chemical Cancer, Construction, Jones Act, Outer Continental Shelf Land Act, FELA, Workers Compensation, Longshore, Contract, Probate, Indemnity, Insurance Coverage, Car Wreck, Slip and Fall, Arson, Adoption, Labor/Employment, Immigration/Asylum, Industrial Accidents, Products Liability, Catastrophic Failures, Libel/Slander, Medical Malpractice, Defamation, OSHA Citations, Chemical Safety Board, Groundwater Contamination, Wrongful Discharge, Employment Discrimination, and Environmental Damage.

In his personal time, Jim serves on the Board of the Boy Scout Bay Area Council and the Sealy & Smith Foundation.
