Mr. Courtney associated with McLeod, Alexander, Powel & Apffel, P.C. in 1997. He has experience in such diverse cases as employment law claims, medical malpractice, product liability claims, insurance defense, personal injury claims, breach of contract claims, commercial litigation and environmental litigation.

His principal area of practice is mass Toxic Tort. Mr. Courtney represents a variety of clients including BP Amoco Chemical Company, LYONDELL-CITGO Refining LP, Lyondell Chemical Company, Atlantic Richfield Company, CITGO Petroleum Corporation and BNSF Railway Company.
