Mr. Brown associated with the Firm in 1985 and became a Firm Officer in 1991.
He focuses his practice primarily in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, ad valorem tax and property valuation litigation. Mr. Brown is general counsel for the Galveston Central Appraisal District. He has litigated hundreds of cases concerning appraised value and property tax exemption issues. He also serves as local claims counsel for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Mr. Brown also advises and represents a variety of other Firm clients on commercial/real estate litigation and property tax issues.
